Description: Jared Monti of Raynham was killed in a battle against Taliban insurgents in the mountains of Afghanistan in 2004. He was trying to rescue a wounded member of his patrol. Jared will be awarded the nations highest honor awarded to a member of the US armed service, the Medal of Honor in September.
