- Description: Army Pfc. Bruce C. Salazar Jr. of Modesto, died July 6 in Muhammad Sath, Iraq, of wounds sustained from a roadside bomb (IED). His remains were returned home Sunday and a memorial service was held Wednesday at Victory Life Church. Salazar was laid to rest at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson following the service.
